There are three upcoming public hearings for people to provide feedback on Mayor Jacob Frey’s recommended 2023-2024 City budget. Comments can also be submitted online at the City’s website.
The proposed 2023 budget is $1.66 billion and the 2024 budget is $1.71 billion. The proposed tax levy increase for 2023 is 6.5% and is expected to be 6.2% in 2024. Comments submitted online will be entered into the public record and shared with the mayor and council members. The City Council is scheduled to vote on adopting the budget on Tuesday, Dec. 6.
