Safety Town Hall Recap: What do we mean by Abolish and Defund?

In the wake of the murder of George Floyd, many community members have seen calls to abolish or defund police. While these terms are new to many, several community leaders have been organizing around these terms for years. PPNA held a town hall to better understand what is really meant by “abolish” and “defund”, and what could that look like for our community.
