The City has released a Draft Racial Equity Framework for Transportation (REF). The City worked with the Cultural Wellness Center on engagement for the Racial Equity Framework alongside a Community Equity Workgroup that helped develop the REF. The REF will guide the planning, design, and construction of transportation projects and contributes to an anti-racist culture in the City of Minneapolis. Read the Draft REF document here

The Draft REF is currently in a public comment period until January 20th 2023 and the City wants to hear from you.

OPEN HOUSE
City staff will be conducting a second virtual open house on January 11th 2023, at 4:00PM. The open house will consist of a presentation that dives deeper into the various elements of the REF followed by a question-and-answer session.
