Hello, neighbors and fellow parents/caregivers!
We are in the beginning stages of forming a Community Interest Group that focuses on Racially Conscious Parenting/Child-rearing. Our hope will be to meet together with other parents of Powderhorn neighborhood to address and discuss how to raise anti-racist kids/families. This will be a space to share your story/wisdom and to hear from others. The framework will be loosely organized and more details will get worked out once we know who is interested. This group welcomes BIPOC folks and Allies who are parents/caregivers.
Please email info@ppna.org if you are interested. We will begin meeting outside mid-May and continue through the summer. Dates/times TBD as we gauge interest.
