Midtown Global Market will host an entertaining and educational celebration of Juneteenth.
Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. Dating back to 1865.
Activities will include: Storytelling at noon with Auntie Beverly, Readings by author Crown Shepherd of her new book "Black Boy, Black Boy" and "Black Girl, Black Girl", Musician/Drummer Joshua Gillespie, Dancers Josh and Friends, FREE Kids craft, Food Specials

Juneteenth: Celebration of Freedom

Future Fighters, CTUL’s all Black worker committee invites you to the 3rd annual Juneteenth Celebration of Freedom. Their theme this year is the youth of the movement. The youth are the key to moving forward and want to celebrate and acknowledge that this Juneteenth.
