Art Cars are pretty cool, but not everyone can afford to decorate their vehicles spectacularly. Thankfully there's the Art Sled Rally, a yearly event held at Powderhorn Park. Participants are invited to bring their wild and crazy contraptions (built for spectacle as much as for sledding) and ride down a hill while others look on in bemusement. Past years have seen sleds turned into all sorts of things, including a chocolate cake, coffee cups, hovercrafts, and purple dragons. Bring a sled to race or stand on the sidelines and watch. There will also be hot coffee and live music to keep you entertained between sled rides.
