Become a PPNA Volunteer
Volunteering is a great way to get involved, meet people and support PPNA's wonderful events. PPNA sponsors many events each year, so there are many opportunities to volunteer! You do not have to be a resident of Powderhorn Park to volunteer.
We recognize that everyone leads a very busy life. So we have many one-time or short-term volunteer options. Below are some examples of annual volunteer needs. We'd love to have as much or as little time as you can offer to make our events spectacular!

Martin Luther King Celebration (January 15th)
Time: 3 hours
Volunteer Needs:

Earth Day
Time: 3 hours
Volunteer Needs:
- Set up
- Meet and greet
- Grilling
- Arts and crafts
- Clean up
National Night Out
Time: 4 hours
Volunteer Needs:
- Set up
- Games
- Clean up
- Food servers
July 4th Celebration
Times vary
Volunteer Needs:
- Selling Glowlight necklaces (1.5 hours)
- Safety Patrol (2.5 hours)
Powderhorn Park Art Fair
Times vary
Volunteer Needs:
- Booth sitters
- Set up

- Help in artist lounge

Station 17 Youth Programs
Classes meet twice a week with all programs for about 2 hours
Volunteer Needs:
- Instructor for Digital Photography class
- Assistants for Digital Photography, Music Studio, and Auto Restoration class
