A Warm Welcome to Our Newest Board of Directors Member
A Warm Welcome to PPNA’s Newest Board of Directors Member – Reyna Payan!
At the June Board Meeting, the PPNA Board appointed Reyan with a unanimous vote. Reyna and her family live in the Powderhorn Park neighborhood and has been involved as the facilitator for PPNA’s Appetite for Leadership program. Reyna is a native Spanish speaker and the Board and staff are excited to expand our cultural competency and organize Board meetings to accommodate Spanish and English speakers.
Reyna will be replacing Vienna Rothberg, who has served on the PPNA Board of Directors since 2010. Vienna will be heading off to Cambodia with the Peace Corps in July. We wish her the best of luck and thank her for her dedicated service.
Serving on the PPNA Board of Directors
At the Annual Meeting on November 23, 2014, PPNA will hold elections for Board of Directors seats. Periodically, the Board seeks replacement candidates for vacant seats. PPNA is a growing neighborhood organization that tackles a broad range of issues: Community Engagement, Economic & Community Development and Leadership. For more information on PPNA’s Priorities, visit the Strategic Direction page.
We look for Board of Director members who are energetic, strategically-minded leaders to help PPNA and this neighborhood thrive. PPNA works to enhance the quality of life in the Powderhorn Park neighborhood by facilitating community engagement, embracing a diversity of voices, and fostering economic and community development. Be a part of this important mission!
