Get Outdoors in Powderhorn Park!

No need to travel far this summer for a great canoeing and camping experience.  The Wilderness Inquiry, National Park Service, Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board, Pillsbury House + Theatre and PPNA have teamed up to present a series of events at Powderhorn Park to give residents more access to the great outdoors.

Earth Day Celebration & Park Clean Up
Saturday, April 20
9:30 am – 1:30 pm
Activities: Canoe workshop, lake and park clean up, arts activities and free lunch

MayDay Parade & Festival

Activities:  Camp setup, cooking outdoors, tent setup and takedown, fishing, canoeing and s’mores by the campfire.
