Wipe Out Graffiti With FREE Paint
For the tenth summer in a row, PPNA will be offering free paint to Powderhorn Park neighborhood property owners, renters and businesses through a generous donation by the Valspar Corporation to paint over unwanted graffiti.
According to the City of Minneapolis, when graffiti is on a painted surface, the best course of action is to cover it with paint. This paint is intended to be used for exterior improvements for properties only and is not intended for sale. PPNA hopes to enhance our already beautiful neighborhood with some fresh coats of paint.
There is no cost to participate in this program, not even an application or inspection fee.
Upon acceptance into the PPNA Paint Program you will be asked what colors, styles, and amounts of paint that you will need. You will need to make an appointment with PPNA to look at the available colors. Program participants are responsible for paint pick-up at Valspar’s location in St. Paul.
Paint will be distributed on a first come, first served basis to qualified applicants. Don’t delay – supplies are limited.
